PLANE HARBOR DESIGN

Cabinets
Lacewood Cabinet
The Lacewood cabinet is a bowfront cabinet with an Oak frame and Lacewood veneer panels. The bowfront design gives a classical aesthethic to this modern piece while serving a two-fold purpose. First, the curves emphasize the beautiful grain in the lacewood panels and second, with this cabinet being installed on a peninsular wall, the curves "follow" the walking path, complementing the flow of the room rather than butting out as a normal square edge would. Leopardwood handles provide a burst of contrast and "Invisible" Soss hinges, the unsing heroes of this piece, disappear into the four legs never to be seen but absolutely essential to achieving this design.

Closet Built-ins
Closet built-ins present endless options for storage and organization of your goods; drawers, rods, shelves, cubbies, bins, you name it, can all be incorporated.
This set is intended to serve those needs through each of life's stages. All shelves and hanging rods are mounted on adjustable brackets and pins for an adaptable and fully custom solution. Integrated lighting in the shelving units and behind the mirror provide gentle lighting at every level and ensure there are never any dark corners.

With careful design and pre-assembly, installation can become a quick and minimally invasive process.
Watch below as this 8 foot x 8 foot cabinet with integrated lighting gets installed with ease.

Quilted Maple Cabinet
A true piece of art, this cabinet (upper and lower) was built as a piece of furniture to meet the elevated style of this kitchen and home. The solid Elm frame compliments the Quilted Maple panels of this piece as well as the other cabinets in this kitchen. The Maple veneers were specially sourced to allow contiguous grain patterns and bookmatching of the fronts and backs of panels. Dovetailed Hard Maple drawers with full-extension, soft-close, heavy-duty slides provide ample storage for kitchen utensils, wares and small appliances. Adjustable shelves in the upper cabinet provide countless arrangement possibilites for any and everyhting that may be stored within.

Hall Console
The Hall Console was built to provide needed storage in the entryway. This version has tip-out style drawers suitable for quickly stowing away backpacks and bags. This cabinet can also be built with drawers, doors and a number of combo configurations.
This piece was built tradtionally with beaded frames and inset doors to give it a higher classical aesthetic. In keeping with tradition and maintaining a higher level of craft, the beads are routed into the stiles and rails of the doors and face frames. Jack miters are employed where two perpendicular pieces meet to seamlessly wrap the bead around the frames.

PT Lowboy
The Lowboy set of cabinets was custom made to fit into this odd-sized cove in this family room. At nearly 20 feet long, this built in is composed of 5 cabinets and 4 drawers, providing plenty of storage and display space. The customer was seeking a minimalist European style and requested no visible handles. To compensate, each cabinet door and drawer is equipped with soft close and "push-to-open" hardware. The top is solid 1-inch thick Oak with cord management ports installed at regular intervals along the top for easy access to outlets below.

PR Bookshelves
The PR Bookshelves are built of Red Oak in a modern Craftsman style and given a natural finish to display the beautiful Oak grain. Each unit is composed of two pieces, the top shelving section and the bottom shelving section. All shelves are fully adjustable making any imaginable arrangement of shelves possible.

KJ Bookshelves
The KJ bookshelves were built as a matching pair to be placed on either side of a fireplace. Designed with a more traditional aesthetic to match other pieces in the customer's house, visually "lighter" mouldings and paint color were used to refine and brighten the space.
